Idea Napkin
My name is Ben Murphy and I am an entrepreneur with the ideas of creating an app called "Bar Cam". What I am offering is a service and application to help people see what the bar seen is like at cities across the country. I am starting this application in the college town of Gainesville, Fl. My app is free and will be paid by advertisements. The part that is great is that people can view what bars they decide are worth going to.

I think your idea is a good one. I have personally gone out to bars that are usually "poppin off" and they are totally empty when I get there. I think your idea is original and a very good concept. I like how simply you explained it and how you already know where you plan to implement it first. Thinking about the app, I don't exactly know how you will be able to advertise on it, but providing it for free is definitely the way to go! ...especially since individuals are already spending money on going out. My last thought is that this may be a little creepy. I know that I wouldn't necessarily feel super comfortable in a bar, knowing that people can be watching me from anywhere. This will definitely be a hurdle to overcome in your marketing of the product, but I believe that you could do it! I think that idea is great. I know that I would personally love to know which bars are really busy and what the crowd looks like. I would definitely use this app because sometimes when I go out it’s a slow night where I could’ve just stayed inside and others I stay in because I don’t know what the scene will be like. That being said, I agree with the second person to comment in the sense that this doesn’t even resemble the outline of the assignment. Great idea though!
